I took a really great B1 German course at ILS St. Gallen with Mr. Geist. He is a very dedicated and motivated teacher who always prepares his lessons well and places great emphasis on practical content. I particularly enjoyed the dialogs he created, which were not only grammatically well-suited to the course material but also drew on situations from our daily lives. This made the lessons varied, easy to understand, and very practical. I also really liked the modern facilities and the pleasant learning atmosphere at ILS St. Gallen. The classes aren’t too large, so the teachers have enough time to address each student individually. This gave us plenty of opportunities to speak actively, ask questions, and receive direct feedback. This helped me a great deal in further developing my German skills. Overall, I’m very satisfied with ILS St. Gallen and the professional support I received throughout the entire course. I would definitely recommend the school to my friends and acquaintances. If I ever want to learn German or another foreign language again in the future, ILS St. Gallen will definitely be one of my first choices. The administrative office is also very professional. My emails were always answered quickly and reliably, and whenever I had questions or concerns about the course, I always received the support I needed. This made my entire experience at ILS St. Gallen even more positive and enjoyable. Many thanks to the entire team at ILS St. Gallen and especially to Mr. Geist for the wonderful time and the dedicated instruction!

I'm currently finishing the B1 course at this school. I'd like to continue my German course here, but at the B2 level. The staff answer questions quickly and are very helpful. Thanks to my teacher, Ondrej, the language barrier has disappeared; we discuss various topics every day and cover complex grammar in a simple way. Overall, the classes are excellent and the staff are friendly.

I recently completed the A2 German course at ILS St. Gallen and am very satisfied. From the very beginning, the course was well-structured, professional, and provided excellent support for the learning process. I’d especially like to highlight my teacher, Ondrej Geist, who is undoubtedly one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. I was very impressed by his professionalism, his positive attitude, and his pragmatic teaching approach. He excels at explaining even complex grammatical and linguistic concepts in a clear, understandable, and practical way, while always creating a stimulating and motivating learning environment. I particularly appreciated his sincere commitment to ensuring that everyone understood the material and was able to apply what they had learned. His teaching significantly advanced my progress and, above all, made learning German a joy. I am very grateful for this experience and hope to be able to count on equally dedicated and inspiring teachers in the higher-level courses as well. I can warmly recommend ILS St. Gallen—and Ondrej in particular—to anyone looking for a professional and pleasant learning environment for German.

I took a B2-level French course with Caroline over several months and can wholeheartedly recommend it. I found both the institute’s organization and the lessons to be professional and very enjoyable. Caroline structures her lessons to be varied and informative, with a good balance of grammar and conversation—which was particularly important to me. At the same time, her positive, personal, and humorous manner creates a very pleasant atmosphere. As a result, the lessons were not only effective but also really fun. Thank you so much, Caroline, for the great time. I highly recommend ILS St. Gallen and, in particular, your classes! :)

I took a really great B1 German course at ILS St. Gallen with Ondrej Geist. He’s a fantastic teacher who explains everything in great detail and in a way that’s easy to understand. He also regularly reviews topics we’ve already covered, which is extremely helpful. The lessons are excellently structured, varied, and practical. The atmosphere at the school is very pleasant, and the entire team is very professional and helpful. I learned a lot and felt very comfortable there. I can wholeheartedly recommend ILS St. Gallen and Ondrej Geist!

Ondrej Geist is the best German teacher I’ve ever had. He explains German grammar exceptionally well. I’ve also studied at HEKS and the Migros School, so I can rightly say that he’s the best teacher and the school is the best in the St. Gallen region. The organization, however, is a disaster—I feel sorry for the students and teachers. On Saturday, I received an email stating that my course was canceled due to too few participants, even though I had already been told at the school that I was the eighth participant (minimum three, maximum eight). Classes were supposed to start today, and now the B1 intensive course isn’t taking place at all. I was offered the chance to join a course that had started a week ago. I went there, and it turned out the course had actually started three weeks ago. Now the administration is asking me whether I paid 100% or 50% because they don’t know. How can they not know when classes start or how much the students have paid? What a lack of organization, professionalism, and consideration! The teacher himself, however, seems to be really good. An organizational disaster, especially since almost everything usually runs smoothly in Switzerland.

A wonderful place with a great atmosphere—highly recommended❣️ I’d like to thank the entire team at ILS St. Gallen from the bottom of my heart for their fantastic support in helping me earn my B1 certificate. It was the best birthday present I could have asked for, and I’m so glad I chose this school. The atmosphere there is one-of-a-kind—the staff is incredibly warm, attentive, and professional. A special thank you and my appreciation go to the lady who was the first to greet me and take care of me while I was waiting in the group room—thank you so much for your great kindness and your smile, which immediately gave me courage. The entire team interacts with each participant in an extremely competent and empathetic manner. I felt very well taken care of there. If you’re looking for a place where learning and exams are approached with a lot of passion, then this is the perfect place for you. I recommend the school with all my heart and send my regards once again to all the staff ❣️ Finally, I send my warmest regards and a request: Don’t change 🙏❣️ Always stay as wonderful as you are. Best regards, Izabela Zych from Poland ❤️🥰
